Our book is Theo of Golden by Allen Levi. A mysterious, elderly man named Theo arrives in the small Southern city of Golden, Georgia, and anonymously performs acts of profound kindness, most notably by buying portraits from a coffeehouse wall and returning them to the subjects in exchange for their life stories, which changes the lives of the town's residents.
St John’s Book Club is open to all who enjoy reading interesting titles and friendly, open discussion and fellowship. We typically meet on the First Wednesday of the Month in St John’s Ivyland’s Grace Cafe. You do not need to be a member of our church to attend - all are welcome!
