Open arms and serving hands, transforming lives through Christ
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-19)
On April 14 we began our “I Love My Church” campaign at St. John’s. Since then we have been learning more about how to reach out to our community with the message that “We love our church.” Through a sermon series by Pastor Janice titled “CATCH — Becoming Fishers of Men” we are learning how we can become better “fishers of men” You are encouraged to check out the activities at St. John’s during this exciting time in the life of our church. We have had some exciting activities starting with the youth’s 30 HourFamine, our FX Night, followed by the youth musical, ”Tale of Three Trees” and our Trivia Night. All of these activities are leading up to the “I Love My Church” weekend — May 17-19, which will, of course, include St. John’s famous Chicken BBQ on Saturday, May 18.
